Pension Plompetorenzicht is situated close to the beaches, the Dominiale Woods, the famous and recently totally renovated DELTAPARK Neeltje Jans, as well as in the proximity of the key nature reserves of the island of Schouwen-Duiveland, such as the “Kouderkerkse an Schouwense inlagen en Karrevelden” the “Schelphoek”, “Prunje polder” (plan Tureluur). Divers can explore the “Oosterschelde” under water. Schouwen-Duiveland is certainly worth a visit for birdwatchers, especially pre- and post-season, when countless birds rest in the many natural areas on Schouwen-Duiveland before setting out on their great journey.
Thanks to good connections to Zierikzee, Middelburg, Ghent and Bruges, Pension Plompetorenzicht is ideally suited as a base to get acquainted with the island, visit historic Middelburg or take a trip to Belgium.
You’ll find us on the Serooskerkseweg 12 in Burgh-Haamstede alongside the N57 towards Middelburg.
Coming from Rotterdam and Zierikzee follow the signs to Neeltje Jans. After the “De Schelphoek” nature park and the SHELL petrol station, it is the second farm on the left-hand side well before the traffic lights.
From Middelburg towards Zierikzee via the flood barrier. At the roundabout take the first exit and then at the next roundabout take the first exit again then it’s the first farm right next to the N57.
